Celebrating Our Volunteers During Volunteers’ Week 2026
As Volunteers’ Week begins, everyone at Swindon Carers Together would like to say a huge thank you to all of our incredible volunteers.
Volunteers are at the heart of what we do. Their kindness, dedication, and generosity make a real difference to unpaid carers across Swindon, helping us provide support, friendship, information, and reassurance to people who care for loved ones every day.
Whether they are helping at events, supporting activities, offering a listening ear, assisting behind the scenes, or giving their time to help carers feel connected and valued, our volunteers play an essential role in our community.
Volunteers’ Week is a national celebration of the contribution millions of volunteers make across the UK. It is an opportunity to recognise the positive impact volunteering has on organisations, communities, and the people they support.
At Swindon Carers Together, we see that impact every day.
Our volunteers bring compassion, energy, and encouragement to carers who may often feel isolated or overwhelmed. Through small acts of kindness and ongoing support, they help create welcoming spaces where carers feel understood and supported.
We are incredibly grateful for every volunteer who gives their time to support our work. Your commitment helps us continue to make a difference to carers and their families throughout Swindon.
To all of our volunteers, thank you for everything you do!
